Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance 2D interactive graphics using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate complex concepts into fluid, interactive animations and user interfaces.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented JavaScript/TypeScript code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Optimize rendering performance for low-latency interactions across various devices and browsers.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex graphical issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Integrate 2D interactive elements with backend APIs and third-party services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a specific focus on 2D graphics and interactive media.
- Deep expertise in HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and vanilla JavaScript.
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of WebGL basics and libraries such as Pixi.js or Three.js (for 2D contexts).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
