Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Design and implement high-performance 2D rendering solutions using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and SVG.
- Performance Optimization: Profile and optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps animations across all devices and browsers.
- Interactive Design: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate complex data and artistic concepts into interactive 2D web experiences.
- Library Maintenance: Contribute to and maintain our internal 2D graphics utility libraries, ensuring scalability and code reusability.
- Debugging & Testing: Rigorously test graphics implementations to identify and fix rendering glitches, cross-browser compatibility issues, and pixel-perfect alignment problems.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards within the creative technology team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a specific focus on 2D graphics, animation, or visualization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Graphics Proficiency: Deep knowledge of the Canvas API, WebGL (2D context), and rendering techniques (gradients, compositing, filters).
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git), build tools (Webpack/Vite), and design tools like Figma.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
