We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Graphics Engineer to lead our interactive design initiatives at Nexus Future Labs. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for architecting high-performance rendering engines, creating visually stunning interactive tools, and optimizing complex data visualizations for millions of users. Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain high-performance 2D rendering pipelines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60fps animations across devices and browsers.
- Develop custom physics engines and particle systems for next-generation interactive UI components.
- Collaborate with product managers to define and refine visual requirements for new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure technical excellence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D graphics programming or interactive web development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, WebGL, and the Canvas API.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra and vector mathematics for graphics transformations.
- Experience with optimization techniques and performance profiling tools (Chrome DevTools, WebGL Inspector).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
