Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust 2D gameplay mechanics, physics, and character controllers using C# and Unity.
- Collaborate closely with artists and designers to translate creative concepts into high-performance code.
- Optimize game performance for mobile devices, ensuring 60 FPS stability and smooth frame rates.
- Develop and maintain a scalable 2D asset pipeline and implement efficient UI/UX systems.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement fixes to ensure a seamless player experience.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D Game Development using Unity (C#).
- Strong proficiency in 2D Physics and Particle Systems.
- Experience with UI/UX frameworks within Unity (e.g., UI Toolkit, uGUI).
- Deep understanding of memory management and optimization techniques for mobile platforms.
- Proven track record of shipping at least one commercially released mobile game.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
