Responsibilities
- Design & Animation: Create high-fidelity 2D animations and motion graphics from storyboards to final export, ensuring high frame rates and smooth transitions.
- Character Rigging: Build and maintain custom 2D character rigs to facilitate fluid performance animation.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with the creative director, 3D artists, and sound designers to align visual style with project goals.
- Optimization: Optimize animation assets for various platforms (Web, Mobile, TV) without sacrificing visual quality.
- Maintenance: Update and refine existing animation libraries and style guides to ensure brand consistency.
- Feedback: Incorporate constructive feedback from stakeholders and peers to iterate on designs effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion design.
- Software: Proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, or After Effects.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating character animation, scene design, and storytelling skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or Fine Arts (equivalent experience accepted).
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of animation principles (squash and stretch, timing, arcs) and rigging techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts.
