What You’ll Do:
As our Receptionist, you will ensure the smooth operation of our daily office activities. Your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing essential administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet and welcome visitors with a professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression of Meridian Strategic Partners.
- Communication Hub: Answer and screen incoming calls, route inquiries appropriately, and take accurate messages.
- Administrative Support: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, handle courier services, and maintain a tidy reception area.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating conference rooms, and managing calendar logistics for senior staff.
- Office Operations: Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and place orders as needed; perform light data entry and filing duties.
- Vendor Relations: Handle basic inquiries from external vendors and service providers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or front desk role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone etiquette.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
