Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum-classical hybrid architectures for enterprise deployment by 2026
- Lead fault-tolerant quantum processor integration with classical HPC systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for real-world applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Drive patent development in quantum networking and distributed computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems and ion trap technologies
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
