Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end quantum computing systems integrating hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure
- Design fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in system integration
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Research emerging quantum technologies and evaluate integration feasibility
- Document system architectures and publish white papers on quantum computing breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or advanced HPC systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and algorithm design
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proven track record of scaling complex distributed systems across cloud platforms
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid workflows
- Published research in quantum computing or peer-reviewed journals preferred
