Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum computing architectures for scalability and error correction
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Research and implement quantum error correction protocols for practical deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quantum computing roadmaps
- Document system architectures and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical HPC frameworks
- Experience with quantum circuit optimization and simulation tools
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical engineering solutions
