Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop cryogenic control systems maintaining millikelvin temperatures for qubit stability
- Create quantum error correction protocols enabling fault-tolerant computation
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Document quantum system specifications and deployment methodologies
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Quantum Computing, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm implementation
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages like Q#
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Certification in quantum information science preferred
