Responsibilities
- Design and deploy quantum error correction protocols for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid cloud-quantum integration pipelines using AWS Braket and Azure Quantum
- Optimize cryogenic cooling systems for sub-10mK operation environments
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum networks with quantum key distribution (QKD)
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm validation and benchmarking
- Document quantum system performance metrics for 2026 scalability roadmap
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum supremacy breakthroughs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical hybrid computing paradigms
- Published research in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Security clearance eligibility (DoD/NASA projects)
