Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Develop cryogenic control systems for quantum processors operating at 10mK
- Optimize quantum error correction codes for fault-tolerant operations
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with HPC infrastructure
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum hardware principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years working with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and low-temperature electronics
- Experience with quantum error correction algorithms
- Strong background in classical HPC architectures
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
