Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum hardware-software integration architectures for enterprise-scale deployments
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum optimization algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in quantum system development
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for machine learning and cryptography
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic processors)
- Present quantum infrastructure roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of leading complex hardware-software integration projects
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals preferred
