Responsibilities
- Design and deploy quantum computing architectures supporting 1000+ qubit operations
- Develop cryogenic cooling systems for quantum processors at millikelvin temperatures
- Create fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for industrial applications
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through innovative proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing infrastructure development
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures and control systems
- Proficiency with quantum circuit simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Security clearance for DoD quantum computing initiatives preferred
