Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead prototyping of fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction methodologies for 100+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure $5M+ in federal grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum control
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
