Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing novel quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to advance qubit stability and scalability
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at global quantum summits
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private quantum consortia
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and computational physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development and quantum machine learning
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and topological quantum computing
- Experience securing federal research grants or venture funding
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
