Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software integration systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Drive commercialization of quantum applications in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level hardware interfacing
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Previous experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
