Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware integration
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with national laboratories
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum machine learning techniques
- Secure NSF and DoD grants for future quantum research
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and QIS frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and Cirq frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonics
- Strong background in linear algebra and group theory
- Security clearance preferred for government collaborations
