Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype quantum solutions for enterprise clients
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve quantum supremacy in real-world environments
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit designs
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and IP protection
- Advise C-suite on quantum adoption strategies and competitive positioning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
