Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving
- Collaborate on quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for practical applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication
- Contribute to patent development for quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (e.g., IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical simulation tools
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research in quantum computing
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing services and HPC environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical presentations
