Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum hardware-software integration systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Develop scalable quantum error correction methodologies
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology roadmap for 2026 commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience with quantum circuit design (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure government research funding
