Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for near-term quantum processors (2026 timeframe)
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant system architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum software for next-gen quantum processors
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Translate theoretical quantum computing concepts into practical industry solutions
- Secure research funding through government grants and corporate partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development and simulation experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
