Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical 2026-era applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype next-gen quantum processors
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and secure patents
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $5M+ in annual government and industry research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding and lead complex projects
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQCS)
