Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead research on topological qubit systems and quantum coherence enhancement
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for industrial applications
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $1M+ in NSF/DOE grants for 2026 research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit platforms
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization tools
- Demonstrated ability to secure government research grants
- Expertise in machine learning integration with quantum systems
- Strong background in condensed matter physics and quantum materials
