Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design and execute experiments on 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybrid classical-quantum computing solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Drive patent portfolio expansion (15+ patents/year)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026 graduates encouraged)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
