Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation tools to validate theoretical models before physical implementation
- Secure and manage quantum computing infrastructure including cryogenic systems and control electronics
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovative, experimental culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing
- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical algorithm optimization
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to abstract complex quantum phenomena
