Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for finance, logistics, and AI
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Develop error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Secure research partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and potential investors
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience with published papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and algorithm design
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel programming
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Ability to obtain US government security clearance (if required)
