Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using our proprietary cryogenic computing platform
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale problem-solving
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor a team of PhD researchers and drive cross-functional innovation with AI and materials science divisions
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from NSF, DOE, and private venture partners
- Architect quantum-safe encryption protocols for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep expertise in quantum annealing and gate-model architectures
- Proven track record of translating theoretical models into experimental results
- Experience securing federal research grants ($1M+)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical high-performance computing
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies preferred
