Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to identify high-impact innovation opportunities through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, scenario planning models, and trend roadmaps for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Present compelling future narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings and thought leadership platforms
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify innovation ROI through predictive analytics and market modeling
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills with data-driven presentation abilities
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams through ambiguous challenges
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, white papers, or books)
