Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and cryptography applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on proprietary hardware
- Design error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish top-tier research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and lead cross-functional quantum-AI integration projects
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry grants for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (or equivalent research experience)
- Publication record in quantum computing or top-tier physics journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental protocols
