Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes in cryogenic environments
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature Quantum, Science Advances)
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor postdocs in quantum error correction techniques
- Patent 3+ quantum computing innovations annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2018-2026)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms or hardware
- Proficiency in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
