Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Lead open-source quantum software initiatives and contribute to industry standards
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and quantum hardware architectures
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding ($500k+ preferred)
