Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and computational acceleration

- Develop machine learning frameworks for quantum error correction and state stabilization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate architectures for 2026-era qubits
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum information science
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in NISQ-era hardware limitations and mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in high-performance computing frameworks (CUDA, MPI) for quantum simulations
- Track record of translating theoretical quantum algorithms to practical implementations
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded quantum initiatives
