Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing architectures on superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve quantum error correction protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to lab's technical roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
