Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems in cryptography and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces and error-correction systems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at global tech conferences
- Develop quantum simulation tools for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies with commercial potential
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published record in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
- Experience securing government or corporate research grants exceeding $1M
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable quantum prototypes
- Certification in quantum cryptography or quantum machine learning preferred
