Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols on hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Develop error mitigation frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications and contribute to open-source quantum SDKs
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and hardware integration
- Secure and manage research partnerships with national quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated understanding of quantum decoherence models and mitigation strategies
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware interfaces and control systems
