Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance metrics
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with AI frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum security protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm development
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfacing
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex quantum systems under 10mK conditions
- Strong background in linear algebra, information theory, and computational complexity
- Experience securing $500k+ in research grants or corporate funding
