Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Lead quantum error correction research to achieve fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for complex system modeling
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise PhD candidates
- Secure government and industry research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable research plans
