Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in machine learning and cryptography
- Develop quantum error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to calibrate quantum processors at millikelvin temperatures
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum applications
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies and architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation and topological qubit systems
- Published peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science/Physical Review journals
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
