Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Secure and manage quantum computing research grants
- Bridge theoretical physics with practical quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, PyQuil)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing research
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
