Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead R&D in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week conferences
- Secure federal and private grants for quantum computing initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (NSF, DARPA, corporate)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex quantum systems
