Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Author peer-reviewed publications in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Optimize quantum error correction techniques for industrial scalability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with physical implementations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum simulators (IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in low-level quantum hardware control protocols
- Strong background in quantum error correction theory
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Track record of securing federal research funding
