Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and materials science
- Lead research initiatives to overcome quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance on proprietary quantum processors
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and develop quantum computing curricula for internal talent development
- Partner with industry leaders to identify and solve critical quantum computing problems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Expertise in at least one classical programming language (Python, C++, Java)
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks and cloud quantum computing platforms
- Proven ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical implementations
