Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead research projects in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors at 500+ qubit scale
- Secure patents and publish in Nature/Science journals on quantum supremacy breakthroughs
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum circuit design and NISQ-era hardware
- Expertise in linear algebra, group theory, and quantum information theory
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QCE)
