Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and computational physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (postdoc preferred)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, TQC)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries and high-performance computing
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and microwave control systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in government/industry research grants
