Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and coherence enhancement
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with physical quantum systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD candidates and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (post-doc preferred)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# programming environments
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing research (5+ papers)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong Python/C++ skills with parallel computing optimization experience
