Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum circuits
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum methodologies
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Published papers in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence phenomena
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- Security clearance preferred for DoD projects
