Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims on superconducting systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical ML frameworks for predictive analytics
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA/NIST quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Patent novel quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulators
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, ACM QCE)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with low-level hardware interfacing
- Demonstrated expertise in topological quantum computing models
- Experience with cryogenic quantum processor architectures
- Strong background in group theory and algebraic topology
