Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals with quarterly targets
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit stability and coherence times
- Develop proprietary quantum machine learning frameworks for industry applications
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published 3+ papers in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Track record of securing federal research grants
