Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Conduct advanced research on quantum error correction techniques
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at premier conferences
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge software-hardware integration gaps
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Proven track record of securing research grants
